dern China started to accept Western painting, in the late Qing Dynasty Western painting education study in Japan began in the late Qing Dynasty as well. Li Shutong is early learner of  Western painting, but with Japanese Sinology the Chinese Poetry sector and  calligraphy circlecharacter interaction, he has learned  music, drama activities for them, we see that the his Western painting world is  with the color of the literati learners. At a later stage, Chen Baoyi and Guan Zilan  had a close communication with Japanese oil painters, very loyal, and very professional. One would like to make sare of the difference of styles between  Li  Shutong and Chen Baoyi.
